About Curry Cut
Curry-cut chicken is the Indian home cook's default: a whole fresh chicken cut into 12 pieces — 2 breast pieces, 2 wing pieces, 2 thighs, 2 drumsticks, 2 back pieces, and a neck-and-carcass cut — with the bone kept in for depth of flavour. It is the cut a Sunday chicken curry, a chicken biryani, a kadai chicken, or a home-style bhuna is built on.
Because the bone stays in, curry-cut chicken releases collagen and marrow into the gravy as it simmers — that is what gives a properly cooked home chicken curry its silky, coating-body texture. The mixed cuts also mean every eater at the table gets what they prefer: leg-lovers, breast-lovers, and the wing-and-neck traditionalists all get served.

How to cook Curry Cut
A Sunday home chicken curry starts with the curry-cut chicken bhuna-ing in a heavy onion-tomato-ginger-garlic-yogurt masala with kashmiri chilli, turmeric, coriander powder and garam masala. Cook for 25 minutes on medium-low, covered, until the oil separates. For kadai chicken, dry-roast coriander seeds, black pepper and red chilli, grind coarsely, and use it as the finishing tempering. For a Hyderabadi biryani, the 8-piece cut is what layers best with basmati rice.
How we deliver it fresh
We source from the coast in the morning, chill it on ice for the drive to Bengaluru and pack it hygienically before it leaves for your door in KR Puram, Whitefield, Marathahalli or the surrounding areas. Nothing here is frozen for days on end and nothing here is chemically treated — the only preservation is temperature. If you order in the morning we deliver the same day; if you order later, we schedule you into the next available slot on WhatsApp before we pack.

What size pieces are in the curry cut?
The default 12-piece cut mixes breast, wing, thigh, drumstick and back pieces at roughly similar sizes. If you prefer bigger pieces for biryani, ask for an 8-piece cut on WhatsApp.
Is it halal?
Our poultry is sourced from a supplier who follows halal slaughter and processing standards. Please ask us on WhatsApp if you want a copy of the current certificate before ordering.
